TenniSense ("the App") is developed and operated by David Alzate Rivera ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using TenniSense you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the basic profile information those services share (name and email).
- Match data. Scores, statistics, and match details you record in the App.
- Videos and photos. If you choose to record match videos or add images, that content is stored in your account so you can access it. Camera and photo library access is only used when you actively use those features.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and diagnostics data. Basic app interaction and crash data used to keep the App working correctly.
- Device identifiers for advertising. Our advertising provider (Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers (such as the IDFA, where you have given permission), approximate location derived from IP address, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads.
2. How we use information
- To provide the App's features: keeping score, storing your match history, statistics, and videos.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To display advertising in the free version of the App.
- To process the optional "No Ads" subscription (handled by Apple; we never see your payment details).
- To diagnose crashes and improve the App.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-party services
TenniSense uses the following service providers, which process data under their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage) — account management and storage of your match data and videos. Firebase Privacy
- Google AdMob — advertising in the free version. How Google uses ad data
- Apple App Store / StoreKit — subscription billing. Apple Privacy
4. Advertising and your choices
The free version of TenniSense shows ads served by Google AdMob. On iOS, the App will ask for permission before tracking via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, ads will still appear but will not use your device identifier for personalization. You can also purchase the "No Ads" subscription to remove advertising entirely.
5. Data retention and deletion
Your account data, match history, and videos are retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the App's settings, or by contacting us at the email below. Upon deletion, your data is removed from our active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Security
Data is transmitted using encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on Google Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard protections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
7. Children
TenniSense is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location — including under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 (Habeas Data) — you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
